LIVE MUSIC • Andrew Hibbard 7:30pm – 9:30pm
November 22 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Meet Andrew Hibbard, a young man that lives a very raw and sort of chaotic lifestyle in the rural countryside, and equally in the nightlife of Cincinnati, OH.
Andrew began playing guitar at the age of 6, and his father had shown him a few chords. He had never taken any lessons before, but he would sit in his room night after night, listening to recordings of his favorite artists and would learn it all by ear. Some of his heroes are Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Neil Young, Hank Williams, Chet Atkins, The Stanley Brothers, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Elmore James, Buddy Holly and the list goes on and on. As a teenager he entered his high school talent show, performing the song “Johnny B. Goode” by Chuck Berry and received 1st place. 3 years later he would be opening up for his hero, the great Dr. Ralph Stanley of The Stanley Brothers in Newport, Kentucky. Andrew released his 1st studio album Foot In The Door at just 17 years old. His 1st album had 7 original songs on it, recorded at Moonlight Studios in Fairfield, OH. Andrew’s talent has taken him all across the The United States. He has been on 2 nationwide tours, and is currently preparing another one. While playing such notable festivals as Buckle Up, Whispering Beard Folk Festival, and Longstone StreetFest, Andrew has made some very impressive stands
